The Scantainer is a lightweight and mobile ventilated cabinet equipped with high-efficiency air filtration on air inlet as well as on air exhaust.

This cabinet offers effective protection for the animals inside the cabinet against contamination and infection.

The personnel working in the animal facility is at the same time protected from exposure to dust, allergens and other contaminants from the animal cages.

The extensive use of Scantainers can lead to considerable savings in terms of general air-handling, filtration and recovery of heat when building new or renovating old animal facilities.

The Scantainer can as option be:

• Equipped with a removable light adjustment kit for changed and reversed day and night cycle
• Connected to the ScanClime Climate Control which allows you to control temperature, relative humidity and air changes inside the cabinet

The Scantainer is available in 4 standard sizes designed to accommodate the most commonly used European standard small rodent cages type I, II, III and IV.
